Our initial launch will be six superb Champion dragon boats, custom-crafted for the Canadian market in stunning colour schemes which hint at the infinite possibilities available for your team; all that is needed is your imagination and love of the sport.
We have ordered these boats in both 12 meter and 9 meter lengths as we understand the appeal for a smaller boat which can be used for both training and racing with a crew of only 10 paddlers and are pleased to be able to introduce them to the Canadian dragon boat community.
These absolutely gorgeous boats will initially be shown in Nanaimo, British Columbia’s Newcastle Channel and at coaching clinics and festivals throughout the season.
After the summer season winds down, some of the boats will be made available to Pearson College for their new dragon boat program where dragon boating will help improve the students fitness and overall health and teach team-building, fundraising, respect, and responsibility.
Hopefully they will also have a ton of fun!
